Open Class Championship - Results

Held on March 1997 at Lake Couchiching, Orillia, Ontario, Canada

Categorized under three different classes
1. Hand Held Wing Class - H
2. Kite Class - K
3. Windsurfing Rig Class (all directional mast) - W

3 types of races were held
1. Speed Trial (held in medium light wind, surface condition on smooth ice with soft snow patches)
2. Marathon Race (held in medium light wind, surface condition on smooth ice with 2 to 3 inch fresh powder snow)
3. Course Race (held in medium to strong wind, surface condition on smooth ice with soft snow patches)

Men and women were ranked separately as
1. Regular (under 40) - R
2. Masters (over 40) - M
